In the Spring of 2022 we received a $3000 Make/Learn/Build Grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council. This generous grant allowed us to make very much needed improvements to our outdoor covered area.
We initially had no cover at all. Our artists braved the elements, in all seasons, in order to bring their hand crafted creations to the public.
We built a covered area that gave modest protection. Over time, it developed some leaks and needed upgrading.
The RACC grant allowed us to add better roofing material, additional support to the structure, lighting, shade structure, a mister for the heat, and heaters for the winter months. This structure allows our community to come together to celebrate and to share art year round. We are extremely grateful!
